Shinguard FLOW

Professional knee pads adapted for long-term demanding catching. The shape of this pads is pre-adapted to the bent shape of the knees. This means that they perfectly copy the shape with the knees and adhere as tightly as possible. This protectors are comfortable and hold perfectly in place. The optimal shape and used cushion materials eliminate detrition. The design therefore helps to prolong service life and maximum protection.

The Shinguard holds and does not move even a millimeter. This type of velcro not only holds it perfectly in place, but also keeps the fabric of the inside of the trousers safe. The compacted foam of the protector is distributed in a way that allows the knees to move naturally without restriction. The foam is also distributed on the inside and outside of the protector, which protects the knee even in the event of impacts on the side caused by jumps on the ball to the side.

On the back of the protector is a breathable elastic fabric that allows the knees to breathe and wick away sweat. At the same time, there are two rubber straps fixing the back of the knees.

Unihoc Flows are made of strong, but slightly thinner, perforated neoprene. The upper and lower parts are sewn hem, which is narrow elastic. The upper and lower side also has a 6 cm wide rubber. This rubber ensures that the Unihoc Flow sits where it should be during the match and training. The rubber band has a fuzzy inside, which is attached to a sewn-on flat, about 6×10 cm velcro. However, this is a different type of Velcto than you usually see on protectors.

The upper edge on the inside has a silicone strip, which further helps keep the knee pads in place. The knee protector includes neoprene, which has a soft hair surface inside. Reduces the risk of abrasion and feels comfortable to wear.

Protective padding is sewn on the outside of the knees. The filling is quite thick, in the thickest places about 25 mm.

How to choose floorball shinguards

Follow these steps to choose correct sizes:

1) Measurement

Check the picture below and measure the body in the next positions:

• height – How tall are you? This number is important to find the right size of the jerseys and other clothes intended for the upper body part (vests, …).
• chest/bust circumference – Measure at the fullest part of the chest, take the measurment of the size for the jerseys and other clothes intended for the upper body part (vests, …).
• waist circumference – Measure around the natural waistline. Take a measurement of this size for the pants and other clothes intended for the lower body part (compress shorts, …).
• seat circumference – Measure at the fullest part of the seat. Take a measurement of this size for the pants and other clothes intended for the lower body part (compress shorts, …).

Please remember or write down measured data so you can move to the step 2)

2) Comparison

Compare measured data with the chart below. If you cannot find that measured value in the chart, find the nearest size.

Example: The chest/bust circumference is 94cm, the chart says the nearest value is 92cm, which fits for the size M. If your body ratio is between any two sizes, choosing smaller size will make your clothes close-fitting, on the other hand choosing bigger size will provide baggy clothes.
